I have ash brown hair. I have had a war with it since I was a young child. I wanted my hair to be blonde, pink, anything but boring brown. I wanted to look like my beautiful blonde Barbies or Dolly Parton, so, as soon as I was old enough, I started to highlight my hair, then bleach it, then color it red or to a darker brown, anything but my color. Now, when I am finally starting to have gray hairs in it, I am embracing this color that I naturally have. These are some inspirational pictures that I found on Pinterest that are encouraging me to grow it out the natural ash brown and very long. I love, big, tousled, wavy hair, and that is how I plan to style it. And now, for your eyes only. ;)

This girl has highlights, but natural hair is usually highlighted to some degree by sun, environmental damage, age, genetics, etc. Very natural eye and lip, very even skin tone and contouring.
